Position Description

A healthcare network in New York is actively seeking a licensed Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their outpatient cardiology practice at one of their facilities on Staten Island.

About the Opportunity:

  • Specialty: Cardiology
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:30am to 5:30p

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, wellness visits, and routine primary care services as a Family NP.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Order and interpret labs, x-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education.
  • Prescribe medications and coordinate care with physicians and specialists.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing; Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • Active New York State NP license and DEA (or eligibility).
  • Primary care experience preferred; strong new graduates considered.
  • Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient-care skills.
